Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit Rev. Fred D. Lampkin assumed the name “Path of Righteousness Ministries (PRM)” on May 6th, 2008. We began our 1st Thursday night bible study on August 7th, 2008 at Hunter Plaza, Dallas, Texas. Our offices relocated to CRS Towers 8035 East R.L. Thornton Freeway, Suite 460, Dallas, Texas and we resumed Thursday night bible study and held our 1st class on August 27th, 2009. Our 1st church service commenced on Sunday, November 22nd, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with 21 in attendance. Our 1st business meeting took place on December 30th, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. Our 1st Sunday church service in Suite 120 was on March 28th, 2010. Our Pastor and Wife’s 33rd wedding anniversary was celebrated on June 13th, 2010, immediately following our 11:00 A.M. morning worship service, which was our 1st celebration reception, held in the PRM facility room. Our Pastor’s Installation Service was July 18th, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. On September 7th, 2010. Our 1st Friends and Family Day was September 26th, 2010. The aforementioned is the 1st of many occasions that God has blessed us with. As we continue our journey; God blessed PRM with the purchase of our new church facility located at 3815 N. Town East Blvd, Mesquite, Texas 75150. We continue to praise and worship God and trust in Him for all of our needs. Though we are small in numbers; we are doing great things at PRM.
God has blessed PRM to witness to many people. Some have visited PRM, Some have called and asked for prayer, and some have never been heard from again. Some of our members have strayed; some have come back to the fold. However, we know that God is in control, and He will send whom He wants when He wants. We are praying that God blesses us with members and worshippers that want to serve Him and give Him the glory for all the blessings He bestows upon us. But we do have the faith and the patience to know that when God is ready to fill these pews on Sunday mornings; it is His will and not ours.
We continue to work diligently in the Battering Intervention and Prevention Program (PRM BIPP) counseling batterers, being character witnesses in court for divorce and custody battles, assisting victims of batterers, mentoring troubled children, and counseling single and married adults. Pastor & Sis Lampkin travel throughout Texas as advocates against Domestic Violence; learning, educating, and teaching the word of God as it relates to the family; constantly reminding everyone that “God is Love.”
